Washing your product:
Hand wash using warm soapy water!
Wash both sides of the product!
When the water reacts with the wood grain, it swells, and if the swelling is not uniform, it can warp the wood over time.
Do not soak!
Do not put in dishwasher!
Dry vertically to ensure both sides dry thoroughly!
Store in a dry place avoiding extreme temperatures!
Treatment:
We recommend oiling and waxing your product once a month.
After washing allow to dry overnight.
The next morning, apply mineral oil to the top, bottom and the sides and allow it soak in for at least two hours. Leave to dry vertically as before.
When dry, apply the wax directly to the product and spread over its entirety.
This will create a barrier and help to retain moisture. Rest the product vertically again and allow to dry overnight.
The next morning using the lint-free cloth, buff the product in circular motions.
The wood should appear glossy and like new again.
Repeat this monthly or as and when the product dulls.
